Coleus Forskohlii Weight Reduction Research
One study from 2005, titled Body composition and hormonal adaptations associated with forskolin consumption in overweight and obese men was published in the journal, Obesity Research.

The forskolin extract did not appear to change thyroid hormone, liver enzymes, cholesterol, insulin, heartbeat, hypertension or red or white blood cells. This research unfortunately did not measure testosterone levels because the study above did.
So, as the Coleus forskohlii extract didn’t appear to help fat loss, it did appear to help individuals from gaining weight.
It is actually interesting that supplement used in this study (ForsLean) is the same as that tested in the earlier study. So, two studies on a single supplement each finding different outcomes.
These two human studies of Coleus forskohlii and weight-loss appear to contradict one another regarding whether Coleus forskohlii helps fat loss or otherwise not.
